You can have CchdCchd, that means that they are a Chinchilla rabbit that can not produce anything else recessive in the C series. You can have CchdCchl, that means that they are a Chinchilla rabbit that carries the Shaded gene. A famous rabbit judge produced this breed by crossing the Thüringer and the Chinchilla. The breed was formally recognised in 1975. This breed was exported to the UK in the 1990s, but it isn’t really seen outside of The Netherlands or the UK. The Sallander can weigh between 2.7 and 4kg.
